ex-Solum

Music collective ex-Solum refers with its name to different meanings of “out of the ground”. Firstly there’s the nature reference of gardens with its plants and trees giving us food and flowers -gardens are also a much beloved location for their intimate concerts. The second reference is social-geographical concept of exile as most of the musicians were born in South America from immigrant families, while now living in France themselves. 

I expressed this idea of being uprooted  by cutting off the bottom of most of the letters but letting the u shoot new roots.
